Episode 212: You Gotta Keep ‘Em Impregnated

Show Notes Episode 212: “You Gotta Keep ‘Em Impregnated”

This week Host Dave Bledsoe finally gets “The Talk” and learned where bar tabs come from.  (When a podcast host loves whiskey very much…) On the show this week keep it FUN with a deep dive with the assault on Roe v Wade!  (Don’t worry Gavin edited out all the “jokes” Dave learned as a kid.)

Along the way learn the origin story of the the most controversial Supreme Court ruling in the latter half of the 20th Century! (No, not ALMOTA FARMERS ELEVATOR & WHSE. CO. v. U.S.(1973), the other one that year.)  We explain why Roe was just a bad case all around for BOTH sides of the issue.  (I mean if RBG hates it…) We examine the good faith arguments of the anti-abortion side in a kind and sensitive manner.  (The word idiot isn’t even used once!)  Then we dissect how Roe shaped the modern GOP and the Conservative movement in the United States.  Finally, we look forward to the future without Roe and wonder if we have enough red fabric dye for all those Handmaid dresses.

Our Sponsor this week is Vasectomy Hut, when you need your nuts cut, think Vasectomy Hut.  We open the show with Dave’s mentor George Carlin and close with his other mentor Bill Hicks until Greg Goad plays us out with a song about as bad as the pun in the show title.  (We tried to stop him, we swear!)
